In November the culture minister was quoted as saying that newspapers that attacked the country's religious values would be under stricter surveillance but that, for the time being, members of the press would receive warnings and not be arrested. The judiciary's report also was not released; and although it was acknowledged that some were abused, there was no information that anyone was held accountable.
